Mozilla não virá para o iPhone/iPod Touch: "

Não trago uma boa notícia, ontem o presidente europeu da Fundação Mozilla, respondeu a algumas questões sobre a oportunidade do futuro do Firefox no iPhone e iPod Touch.

Infelizmente, há notícia é que o Firefox nunca virá.

Isto é devido às escolhas que a Apple, que está trabalhando no desenvolvimento e distribuição do seu navegador e que prefere não ter concorrentes com aplicativos que reproduzem as funções nativas já que poderia confundir o usuário. Isto é o que está escrito nas regras do SDK, algo que dificilmente mudará.

Assim, podemos esquece-lo. Porém , o Firefox Mobile, será lançado em breve em todas as outras plataformas: Symbian, Android, Windows Mobile e Maemo.
